Baby Pulls Off Braclet, Sparks Evacuation Of Paris Airport
MARLB ORO, Mass. -- A 9-month-old Marlboro baby sparked an evacuation at a
Paris airport this week just by pulling off a beaded plastic bracelet.
The baby's mother, Joan Patnode, told the Worcester Telegram and Gazette
that her daughter Emily Anne snapped the bracelet of plastic beads at
Charles De Gaule airport Wednesday.
The beads flew off in all direction and hit a man in the back of the head.
The man, jittery because of a recent ceiling collapse at the airport that
killed four, told authorities a piece of ceiling hit him.
Officials saw the crystal like beads on the floor and evacuated the
terminal for 45 minutes. They inspected the terminal and interviewed
Patnode before they were confident the ceiling wasn't failing.
Patnode was taking the newly adopted Emily Anne from Siberia to Boston.

Apaprently not, but it was only through the quick action of dozens of TSA
commandos.

Maybe she was insulted by wearing plastic jewelry? Typical adopted child
syndrome?
Just wait until she steals the combination to the family safe, and gets a taste
of the real stuff. ;-)
