I met my birth mom, and 2 of my half brothers along with one of their wives
and a fiancé and 2 nieces and a nephew. It was all very emotional. When we
first got there I was greeted with many hugs and then I met my b.mom and we
hugged and cried. We were there all day and stayed for dinner. After dinner
they had a cake that read "We Love You" on it, for me. It was all unreal!
One half brother gave me a dozen pink roses, he said he went to the florist
and asked what sisters like because he has never had one before.  I can't
even explain how it all felt, I don't think there are words for it all!  I
have been bracing myself for years for the worst. I mean being a member of
this group as long as I have, I have seen all kinds of things happen.
Meeting her was like looking at myself in 17 years. It was very strange. We
even dress alike.  I have made wonderful friends from all of this and my
a.family and b.family can't wait to all meet each other. I have been on
cloud nine ever since.  God bless you all in your support, guidance,
friendship and smacks upside the head when I have needed it.  I do want to
recommend  Canada Adopt Registries http://www.canadianadopteesregistry.org 
for ANYONE from Canada looking to re-unite. I can't tell Gail thank you
enough for her gift of uniting us.
