Follow up - their outgoing message has been changed to say that their
technology is being upgraded, and that staff will "try to" answer the phone
between 8-12 noon Pacific time. So, I will wait until tomorrow.

I just got through. Bless them, ISRR is seeing an additional donation this Christmas.
I have my daughter's name, address, and phone number, and they are calling her now, to tell her of the match. She is perhaps 25 minutes from me.
Thank you all for the support! It got me through a VERY long night. Marley, I remember you from way-back-when, maybe 95 or so...
Hi all,
I just got THE phone call - a message on my machine from ISRR asking me to
call them!!!!!
Unfortunately, when I call back, I get only a machine (which doesn't take
messages). Does anyone know how to get hold of them?
Thanks
JB

I hope things go well for you. This is so exciting! I've been here a long time. Since 1993. No life yet!

Hey all,
Dam this emailbox is getting spammed all of a sudden. I'm going to have to dump it soon.
Anyway, on the guise of an update... I just left a message on her answering machine... One baby step at a time I guess...

We spoke! We spoke! I can die happy now. {vbg}
We were both excited and nervous but it went very well. She says she wants to meet, I said just let me know when and I will be there. I am beyond the moon and stars. I dreamed of this moment for so long...
Around when she turned 18, her apars gave her all the info they had, and they had a lot more than I realized. But they asked her to hold off on contact till she was done with the college application process, and she went early decision and was accepted, so then she registered ISRR. She is definitely antsy just like me, lol! Sounds like these apars fulfilled all their promises made so many years ago. Bless them.
