The bill was totally compromised. For some reason deformers think they can
compromise with people and organizations who don't want anybody to have
access to their records. In NH they had the Gant of Four opposed to them:
NCFA, Right to Life; ACLU, and Planned Parenthood. A recent news article
implied that the bill is dead, but it's still on the NJ leg site with no
action cited. An earlier article suggested what some of the compromises
would be, but again, those compromises are not in the bill's history. They
need to scrap it and start over. Of course, they won't.

Thanks Marley. I wonder what ever happened to "the majority rules".
Ontario is now having to go through a court challenge by 3 adoptees and
1 birthmother, against their new open adoption law coming into effect
this fall. What the outcome of that will be is anyone's guess. Some
judge may rule against the bill and squash it.

New Jersey sunk-they had the ACLU, the catholics and oh yea that other
washington group with their fingers stuck up the legislators azz.
