Snazzy bit of marketing. Slick and one-track and doesn't identify
itself as marketing, either.
Read all about it:

Heartbeat International (international headquarters located about 5
miles up the road from me) and CareNet are the two largest compulsory
pregnancy purveyors in the US.  It should be no surprise that they're
pimping crap like this.

Triple yck. Purveys misnformation too
kippaherring@hotmail.com - 22 Oct 2008 15:56 GMT
Ooops. That posted itself. Weird.
Anyway, they're basically lying by not laying out all the facts. The
scaremongering and dishonesty is breathtaking.
http://www.teenbreaks.com/abortion/complicationsgirls.ctm fails to
mention that the greatest health problems occur among young women and
girls under the age of 18 who are physically unready for childbirth.
Nor do they mention that young girls under the age of 14 are at
particular risk of complications in delivery due to the fact that the
pelvic bone hasn't yet grown to its maximum size.
Obviously it's better that young girls don't get pregnant in the first
place, but when they do, abortion IS the medically safer option,
especially in the first trimester.
And that's not even touching on the emotional and psychological side
of things (of course, they have their own fairy tales about that too)

Had an inkling there was something like that behind it from the fact that
there's no realistic advice on how to avoid getting pregnant in the first
place

Do they have an adoption agency attached? Wouldn't want to dry up the supply

No specific adoption agency attached.  Any will do, as ong as it's
"christian."  They also, of course, do not approve of contraception.

Speaking of drying up the supply.  That was one of the reasons given by an
OB/GYN against a measure on the ballot to expand stem cell research here in
MI.  That if stem cell research really took off there would be less embryos
available for adoption!
