Nope it was 14 years old and only had 160thousand ks on the clock. Paid
$6000 cash for it and another $7000 to keep it running.
My first gemini ('76 model) was wonderful, 3 years and it never broke
down...never stopped for anything untill I smashed it. My second gemini (81
model) was just as good, paid $600 for it and other than general
maintainence it never skipped a beat...it's funny cause I traded that for
this car and we still see the gem from time to time...it's still going
strong! Just for the record tho, both were manual sedans. I've driven both
manual and autho gems and the autos are well known for problems.

This one is an '89 Laser hatch (manual) with 155K on the clock and great
exterior condition. I paid $3450 and I think it will be good once we are
over the hump. <crosses fingers>
My old Gemini was an '82 from memory. Blew gasket, lots of rust. Was always
giving me trouble. Sold it for $300 for parts.
