Cravings

Well I havent eaten much today and Im feeling very hungry right now.

I am desperate for Nachos.
Specifically the ones Trios make.
So I just phoned the Jam Factory and their store has closed.
Southbank store is also closing soon.
I phoned Amoigos in Chapel Street and their kitchen closes at 2am.

Am I that crazy to wait for hubby to return from work (midnight) and go
to Chapel Street in search of Nachos?

Parking would be a bitch.

(Im trying to talk myself out of it)

It is damn freezing.

Amigos nachos arent as crap as Trios and it is crap Im looking for.

Should I shutup and eat mashed potato?

I am so desperate that I booked a flight to Sydney so I can go and eat
the Nachos I really really crave.
Melbourne used to have a Chili's Of Texas but no longer does.
Sydney has one!
So dh and I will fly to Sydney, eat and shop then come home.
I havent told him this yet. Ho hum.

2 kids and I have never experienced cravings like this.

*dilemma*

my car has a fabby heater and petrol schmetrol... its there to be used :p
evil calories? when you're this fat, it hardly matters.

brocolli!
jeeze you're harsh.

apparantly brocolli is one of the only things you cannot recall the
taste of.
like, when you think (in my case *dream*) of certain foods you remember
the smell and taste. However brocolli you cant.

brocolli in pasta is delish. mmm with chicken and mushrooms and a creamy
wine sauce.

f.cking hell!!!

anyone would think I was starving.

So you didn't drive in to Chapel St then???  Hope Maccas breakfast does it
for you
My mum reckons that when she was pregnant with me, the only thing she ever
wanted was mandarins and used to eat them till they made her sick and once
she was sick she would start eating them again...

I am sure there is a Chili's out near me, do you want me to send you a
parcel?? I've never been there though, prefer Lone Star and the Amarillo
Cheese Fries...

Nah, didnt go for a drive. I sulked instead.
Vic is just washing his car and then we are off to Maccas!
And not a minute too soon I say :)

When I was pregnant with MissyV all I ate was mandarins and oranges.
I ate about 4kg's of oranges per week.
I was so unwell when pregnant with her and citrus was the go.
I kind of know what your Mum felt like.

Go to Chilis! Have some nachos (different to anywhere) and have a
mudslide (kahlua, chocolate and vodka drink that they do extremely well).
Be wary of the Buffalo wings.. Vic loves hot food but sheds a tear over
these.
There was one other chicken dish I loved but I cant think of what they
called it.
They also do cheese fries.

MMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

*dreaming again*

When I was pregnant I remember eating mountains of mandarines! It was the
only craving I ever got.

Joeys live  in south yarra used to make em melt in ya mouth.
And there were cheap toooo... $5 used to fill you up and there was still
aways some left over.
Joeys was a nightclub bar place, that sold limited snacks and food and was
open all nights until 5 am (and had great cover bands) and they rarely
opened daytime and if they did they usually had some reason for it.

And then Joeys decided they no longer would be in business so we lost our
fav hang out, workplace and the best nacho's. Joeys in st kilda was still
open and was still dangerous like always  (easy drugs, long story for
another day) (closed also) and the one in prahan was still open but that
kinda werid (gay bar but was a bad one, long story another day) (they have
closed also.)

The next place I know that does good nacho's aren't here in melbourne
(everywhere but) . And that is the hogs breath cafe.

*sighs...I  wants nacho's now
*sighs...I miss night clubbing...

sweetie you need not tell me about Joeys.
I frequented StKilda Joeys, dh worked there and we were close with Joey
for a time. Cant say I would have ever considered Joeys StKilda to be
dangerous. The only time we frequented the Commercial Rd one was for the
  staff partys and christmas parties.
Toorak Rd Joeys.. *sigh* never did really well.
Joey didnt just decide to 'go out of business' he became quite unwell at
the time.

I have been desperate for proper Mexican food for weeks now.  All the
places I used to eat at closed down :(  All the places I still know of
in Sydney are around Crows Nest and that's too far away :(  I feel
your pain.
