Hi folks,

I've been posting a bit, and thought I should reintroduce
myself properly.  I posted here a couple of years ago when
DS was new (born 5/02) and before I got busy with work again.
I also know some of you from MKP.  DS nursed for 20m,
after some early latch difficulties (effective for him,
but painful for me).  I pumped at work (part time, then)
from 4.5mo to something like 10mo when he was taking enough
solids in his short time with the sitter that we could just
nurse at other times.

I'm pg again, due Labor Day (9/5/05), and looking forward
to nursling #2!

You know, Emily, I was just wondering about you last week.  I'm sooooooo
happy to hear your news!  Congratulations!  How's the pregnancy going so
far?  Hope you're feeling good!

Glad to see you back!

Hi Jen,

Thanks for thinking of me :)  Things are going pretty good (I've
been posting all about it over in mkp).  The short version is that
we got normal AFP results, in nice contrast to the abnormal ones
which were the first sign of trouble with Scheherazade.  I'm in the
2nd trimester now, so feeling less nauseous.  I still have much less
energy than I'm used to, but I'm learning to pace myself.  I'm
working full time now, in a tenure-track job.  When I was pg with
DS, I worked only half-time, at a fun start-up.  And of course
didn't have anyone else to take care of :).  But, DH is doing a
great job of taking care of me, and taking over the heavy lifting
with DS (most of the early morning stuff, for example).

DS is doing really well.  He's going to be 3 soon and continues
to be a joy.  And brilliant, of course :)

How are things with you?

Emily

Everyone here is good!  Laszlo turned 3 on February 6 and Lily just turned 1
on March 13.  I can't believe how fast it's all going!  I'm sure you feel
the same way about Toby.

I'm so happy things are going well!  Can't wait to hear all about the new
lil one once he/she makes the big arrival!
