what does a plugged duct feel like?

I have this excruciating pain in my right breast. Not the whole breast
hurts, but one area in kind of a line from top to nipple. It almost feels
like an intense engorged pain, and all night it throbbed. It's agony! But
I don't feel a hard lump or anything to indicate a clog. I'm pumping and
nursing as usual on that side still, but it hurts so much! Can anyone shed
some light on this?

not a plugged duct the, they feel like a solid lump, if baby feeds or you
pump and it doesn't unplug, you can end up with an empty feeling breast with
a solid mass in one sector

that kind of throbbing sounds like thrush to me, but not necessarily, I have
occasionally had soreness like that which has lasted maybe 12 hrs
