I don't know if this is a dumb question or not--but do decongestants such as
Sudafed tend to lessen milk supply?  I am wondering because I have a cold
and am hesitant to take anything, but would gladly take them if there is no
risk.

Hi Karen,

I looked this up at kellymom.com during a recent cold.
Here is a section heading "Milk supply: Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) may
reduce milk supply."

http://kellymom.com/health/meds/cold-remedy.html

There are lots of practical cold remedy suggestions there too.
