My baby is a little over 4 weeks old. I started pumping yesterday.
My husband tried to feed him the bottle last night, but he only took 1
oz.
My main question is I plan to store my breastmilk in Dr. Brown glass
bottles and to put them in the fridge and store some extra in the
freezer. I need some advice from anyone who is doing that. I would
like to find out if you keep all the parts with the nipple when you
put the bottles in the fridge and the freezer.
I don't know if the nipple should be in the fridge, because the nipple
will be cold when I feed the baby. If I don't put the nipples with
the bottles in the fridge and freezer, where should I store the
nipples until I need them?
Appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thank you.

Hmm, I've never stored a bottle in the freezer,
so I don't know about the nipple part. My only
suggestion is that you do not fill the bottle
all the way to the top because water expands
when it freezes and you don't want the bottle
to burst.

I froze some bottles when Sam was little and I used the Avent System
which is plastic. I used the regular caps (no nipples, just the white
rubber caps you put into the screw on top part) for storage and put the
nipple on when it was time to feed, or rather, when I took the bottle
over to whoever was babysitting (this happened about twice, so yeah, I
don't have a lot of experience with this).

I know the avent system has a "storage bottom" which is a flat piece of
plastic with the screw sides like a bottle and you just screw a ring
with the nipple on that and put a cap over it. But I don't know if other
systems have something like that.
