Some months ago (maybe more than a year?) I posted and commented on two
news stories that occured almost simultaneously.  One involved an adult
man who had impregnated a minor girl, then married her or drove off to
get married with her.  Another involved an adult woman who had gotten
pregnant by a minor boy, then went off to get married with him.  Both
were in trouble for statutory rape.

I had wanted to keep and eye on these cases to learn how they had turned
out, but I lost track of them and am having trouble remembering much
about them or finding my posts regarding them.  Can anyone help out?

Thanks,

You may need to be a little more Specific about the places where
these happend.  Once you do figure that out. A good resource is to go
to the Local Paper Websites and search the archives.

i would be more then happy to assit you in looking for the info, but
as there are probably alot of such cases locations would be helpful.

The only story that comes to mind is that of the Wash State teacher
who got prego by her Student.  She was sent to Jail, and is now out.
And she left her husband, and married this Teenager.

Are you talking about the teen and the 20-something y/o guy that had a child
and they married, yet the state wants to prosecute him for rape anyway?

And the other case, isn't there a Grandmother involved that wants to see the
boys "marriage" to his former jail-bird teacher annulled or divorced or
something?

That could be it, yes.  The thing is there was a near-identical case
around the same time where the sexes were reversed.  It was uncanny.

I know I posted links to both articles here but I can't for the life of
me remember enough of what I said to find the post on google.

The message was:

Oh, now this is too precious.  Check it out:

Notice remarkable similarity...  Right down to the date!  In fact,
almost everything is identical except for ONE little detail...

I wonder which of these two people will be jailed and which of them
will
get a lil' slap on their lil' ol' wrist?  Any wagers?

The truly useful information could be found lower in the link, for those
interested:

Just so we can keep an eye on the trials...

The female child molester is named Lisa Clark and she lives in Atlanta.
The male child molester is named Matthew Koso and lives in Nebraska.
