The story links to a couple of lists for deadbeats.  And here are the
relevant numbers:

Number of males: 137
Number of females: 1
Debt of Summit County Males: $392,111.87
Debt of Summit County Females: 0
Debt of Cuyahoga County Males: $3,790,085.72
Debt of Cuyahoga County Females: $17,706.57

Now, given those numbers, technically speaking this line "But with
thousands of deadbeats - both men and women - failing to pay in Ohio,
roundups like these will continue."  is true, but let's call a spade a
spade, dear readers.  They're after males, it's that easy.
But wait a minute, they actually published the name AND debt of a female
violator (Tracy Kosch who owes $17.706.57) in Cuyahoga County.  We've
reached gender equity, god bless us everyone.

And so far, we have 2 mothers down, 298 mothers to go.

Also, my letter to the writer:
You have this line in your article:  "But with thousands of deadbeats -
both men and women - failing to pay in Ohio, roundups like these will
continue."   But come on now:  with 137 men and a combined debt of over
$4 million vs. one woman with a debt of $17,706.57, you can be a little
bit more honest: this is a MANhunt in almost every sense of the word.
Those two counties apparantly view non custodial fathers as an open line
of credit, and the time's come for a shakedown.

They gotta have at least ONE woman in the mix so that they can claim they
are not discrimating against men. "See, we go after women too". After all,
who would believe that they are not gender biased if there were NO women in
their hunt? Anyway, it must really suck being that woman since the odds are
extremely low that it would be her. But then again, she should be pleased
that they at least gave her virtually infinitely better odds at not getting
sucked into their system.than they give men.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
