In case you forgot, Dail was the guy who was wrongly incarcerated for 18
years because of the rape of a little girl (which I’m sure made his time
in jail seem like Easy Street). After he got out, the ex-girlfriend
filed a child support claim against him because he received $360,000
from the state.
Well, chalk this one up to a judge who actually has some common sense. I
guess he realized that working a job at Wal Mart is a little hard if
you’re behind iron cells and concrete. The chains probably didn’t help
either.
But there was one thing that this article didn’t mention, and that was
that his son was now living with him. Was it in his best interests to
take the money out of his home and give it to his mother? I wouldn’t
think so, but then again, I don't work in child support either.

This has to be false, we're talking common sense and logic!

So what is the final decision? Will he have to pay or not? (I can't
follow the link)

Actually, the woman apparently came to her senses and dropped the whole
thing. And I'm not saying she shouldn't have been reimbursed, but if
somebody should have done it, it should have been the state not the
father. And it definitely should not be the father when he has the
child living with him!
