Woman sues Yahoo for Internet Nude Photos's
http://www.wftv.com/news/4539709/detail.html
Apparently the guy who took and published her photos did nothing
illegal and cannot be prosecuted even though his actions resulting in
total strangers going to this woman's workplace and meeting her, and
blurting out requests for sex.
The guy sounds like a real scumbag though and I hope she gets her
revenge.

I fail to see how this is Yahoo's fault. Oh, wait, silly me... they
have money, that's right.
I also fail to see how the guy did nothing illegal. Isn't there
something called "defamation of character" or something like that? Or,
falsely impersonating someone. Harrassment of some sort? Maybe
slander. Not being a lawyer I don't know all the technicalities, but I
would suspect that a few things could apply here.
Maybe the guy should be required to satisfy the sexual requests of all
the men who showed up at her work. :-p

Someone asked me here years ago just what is it that i'd do married but not
when i'm not married. Well, that's it. And that's basically why. I wouldn't
want something like that in the hands of an "ex-boyfriend".

I wouldn't do that kind of thing eithe way. Wouldn't want them in the
hands of a revengeful ex.. be they boyfriend or husband. We've seen quite
a few revengeful former spouses come through ASD over the years.. It can
be creepy.

Has to be a lot of trust and commitment involved in a marriage. For ppl who
are really into visuals, that kind of thing can be a new dimension to the
relationship.
I figure, too, that anybody who has basic knowledge of digital photo-editing
can take a portrait and switch some bodies or bodyparts around and make nude
photos anyway. Someone could take all the headshots from the ASD site and
create a huge nekkid orgy scene, if they wanted. ;-)

I wouldn't mind my nude photos on the web, but what this guy did is invite
men to show up at her place of work for sexual assignations....pretty
awful....yet.....30 years ago he could have posted her photos in a bar
restroom and invited men to come to her place of work....of course,
eventually the bar would have taken them down, after she complained....not
sure how to determine yahoo's liability, but the guy has definitely violated
SOME laws...

Yeah, but they can just as easily end up in the hands of an ex-spouse.
I didn't post the ones I had though.

Maybe this was revenge for something worse we don't know about?
Not that I think tit-for-tat is appropriate - who knows, maybe she'd sent
hookers to his work place!
Maybe it's a scam between the two of them to sue Yahoo?
First impressions can be misleading, and lack of the full story
can seem like someone (the guy in this case) is totally crazy!
It's why gossip, either in person, in magazines and newspapers,
on the TV (oh sorry, they call that "news") is appealing.
