This stupid phrase ran through my head all day.

The plan was to be married outside in a garden, then the rain came...and
rain and rain and rain.

Wedding photo of John and I on the ASD Web site.

Told Mom I wanted to get married in her backyard. One of her first comments
was, "what if it rains." (her first comment was, "whose backyard?")

Thanks for all the great comments.

We have a few more hurdles to jump before we have a normal home life, but
hopefully we are on the home stretch.

Congrats John & Lori!

I was a little farther south yesterday, and I was outside, so I know
what you are talking about. It rained cats & dogs.

But hey, Lori had to get a jump-start on developing her west coast
webbed feet sometime!

All the best

ROFL ... um ... Pacific Northwest?

"We're not in Kansas anymore Toto"

A short story.  After my Dad died, my mother took my sister and I to the
Virgin Islands to get away.  It rained the entire time.  One guide we
had on a tour to someplace said ... "Liquid sunshine, ladies nad
gentlemen, Liquid sunshine."  Stuck with me ever since, and glad I got
to share it with you even though you didn't get the thrill of my presence!

Liquid sunshine, I like that. The fact that there is so much liquid sunshine
means I don't have to water the flowers.

GWB.  I mean after all, there's a man that certainly says what he means
doesn't he say that means to me?  Huh? (Got to wonder what Hu Jintao's
nickname is?).

Sounds like a good trade from the 4+months of sweltering heat and humidity I
left behind in the mid west. :)

when you live in Bangkok (unless you're a native) you are soaked with
sweat 24/7...

I've been to New Delhi too, and Bangkok is worse. I've been to Louisiana
and Tennessee, lived in Alabama...heck, I've been to all 50
states....Bangkok is humidity.

on the other hand, if it's COOL and humid....I'm fine.

It's 4+ months here too ... but our "plus" is a lot bigger.

It rained (a little bit) here one day about 4 weeks ago.

there ARE a few of us) shut out visions of Flagstaff, Death Valley, Palm
Springs, and....that dangling state down there on the east side....I've
lived in Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, California, Oklahoma...and Thailand....
 rain is the bomb.
