Have you ever been talking with someone and telling them of your views and
they simply say to you "that is bullshit" and won't even try to hear your
case?

People like that have a fully closed mind. They are no longer teachable, at
least on that subject. They have made up their minds and don't want to be
confused by the facts.

Much of the time those same closed minded people have no coherent case for
their opinion at all. Sometimes they have a great case but are unable to put
it into words and simply react with anger or name calling out of
frustration.

It is terrible to be in such a state! I know, I was one of them. I am by no
means perfectly teachable today but I am making strides in that direction!

I will be sending out a newsletter early on Feb. 06,2004, that describes my
efforts toward becoming teachable and the methods I found that have worked
for me. Only those that subscribe to the newsletter will get it. The only
way to subscribe is through my web site since I practice permission based
emailing only. In every newsletter is a link to remove your name from the
mailing list.

I don't ask that anyone agree with my view of anything. I simply offer it up
for your reading and comment. I leave it up to the reader to make an
informed decision by doing research on their own.
