A Natural Solution for Teenage Angst

I just read through an article on Yahoo that has a great deal of
timely interest. For anyone concerned about their teenagers feeling a
bit "out of it," this is the story of a product that has been used for
many years in Sweden and Scandinavia to help with what I'd call
"teenage angst." Better focus on school, clarity for exams, support
for a positive mood, etc.

Anyway, here's the link in case you are interested.

You're really stupid if you think this has any validity as far as the
usefulness of the product. This a press release to get more money from
investors for the company.

Calling me names doesn't do anything, except prove your own ignorance.
I did a search after reading that. I've found more than 500 scientific
articles about the ingredient (Rhodiola rosea) and most of the
clinical studies have been done on that SHR-5 ingredient mentioned in
the article. Evidiently the history goes back to the Vikings.

If you don't trust it, don't buy it. Simple as that. But, I know a lot
of Swedish people, and they seem relatively happy. You don't find
teens shooting up their schools.

They're probably happy becausse they don't waste their money on crap like
this.

And they are able to tell a press release for investors from scientifically
valid information.

You might also want to check and see who supported the supposed scientific
studies.

Gee, don't have a cow, man.

Jeff, you've got a knee jerk reaction thing going there!

Check out the reference, I did, at the end of the article. That's a
double-blind, placebo controlled clinical trial appearing in a peer-
reviewed scientific journal, by a number of university authors
(PhytoMedicine). I looked for more of those, and even companies that
sell other brands of the same plant (Rhodiola rosea) use THIS
company's clinical trials (there are a lot more of them).

They sell to doctors, and most doctors are very cautious about what
they recommend. So, there goes your theory about scientifically valid
information. Even the leading alternative medicine guy in the USA
describes those clinical trials in his review of that plant.

Speaking of jerks...

It is obvious you are not a user of your own product, assuming it does
as you say.

Is that really peer reviewed? And, are the peers all loons?

Utterly moronic.

Sweden has highly restrictive gun laws and has a school shooting. It is
a much smaller country with fewer guns.

From those facts alone, one would expect fewer shootings.

What a maroon.

Thank you VERY MUCH for this informative article!!  Please be aware
that the "crack-pots" and the very disturbed children will attack it,
because they are afraid!! They are afraid of the truth.  Stand tall
and keep posting the facts, because the facts will out!!

Thanks again.

You mean that this is a press release designed to get people to invest in
the company?

Proby, have you considered a "brain transplant?""
It probably would be a much-needed improvement!

I have often thought you were a candidate for just such a thing.
However, PETA has opposed substituting a baboon's brain for yours, even
though it would being you up the intelligence scale.

The trolls are sure coming out of the woodwork.  Palmer, VD Sessions,
Ann, Proby!!
These medical newsgroups sure have gone down the tubes!  Luckily for
those seeking honest, reliable and scientific information, Jan and I
are here and we are only too willing to post the medical facts!!

Now move along Proby, and take the rest of your crack-pot Cult with
you.  We do not need your kind
around here.  These are decent, respectable newsgroups, not some kind
of freak-show!!

Do not compliment yourself. Your are lower than a termite.

Palmer, VD Sessions,

Leave and improve them.

For you, that would be a first.

My kind bing those who know support.

When you leave, the freak show is over.

My apologies to freaks for insulting them.
