Mine love:
- spicy beans & rice, with green beans, broccoli or asparagus on the side
- a Thai stir-fried broccoli recipe that originally featured shrimp, but
also is good with beef or pork
- fish stew (includes onions, tomatoes, and a lot of parsley)
- lentil stew (includes lentils, kidney beans & potatoes, and spinach if
I have it)
- hamburger & cabbage casserole (this is sort of a slacker's cabbage
roll recipe)
I'll be glad to post recipes if you're interested in any. (It might
take awhile to drag the lentil stew recipe out of my husband; he started
with a recipe in an Indian cookbook but changed it to suit himself.)

Hi Clisby!
The fish stew and hamburger casserole sound good!
If you could post those recipes, I would appreciate it. The Thai one
sounds good also, but I failed to mention that we have food allergies
to peanuts, sesame and peas. I'm not sure if that recipe has any of
those ingredients in it. A lot of asian foods seem to use seame or
peanut oil. I wish the kids would eat something like a spicy rice and
beans, but except for the oldest one, they have a low tolerance for
spicy heat like peppers.
Thanks again so much for your suggestions.
