for the last 3 or 4 months, Chris will go thru periods of major fussiness
and screaming. all the signs have pointed towards teething. this seemed
confirmed when in early sept. we saw a tiny, hard white spot on his lower
gum--the beginning of a tooth. the frustrating part is that, in all this
time nothing had changed--until today. during a screaming session, i went
to see if the tooth had grown--figurung his pain could be the tooth pushing
thru more, and it's gone! no white spot, nothing. just a (possible) slight
dent where it had been for the last three months.
were we mistaken? was it not a tooth (even the doctor figured that it was)?
is ant of this normal?

I've heard of instances where the tooth starts to come through, and then
goes back now...and during those conversations, it was said to be normal.
