I sent a reply to you about the article I finally copied for you. I
can't attach it via the google group mechanisms--so check your "mon-
mail" and if you reply to me, then I should be able to send it on.

Thanks.

I just sent an email to your gmail account.  You should not
have an issue with that email address.

Thanks again.

BTW, I hope everything is going OK for you so far.
Keeping yourself busy?

What are we learning in class this week?

Thanks mon!

Let me know if you don't get it.

Things are very busy which of course helps things go well. No,
actually, that's not entirely true, is it? Things are actually going
well. I have actually found a great sense of relief to no be entering
this holiday season without dreading yet another repetition of
unresolved (and obviously unresolvable) "family issues." Without his
family, I find myself actually looking forward to the forthcoming
Thanksgiving break, which lets me realize that it will be even better
at Christmas. I LIKE this feeling.

So when I feel a bit disconcerted walking into an empty home, or have
to stop those thoughts we all have while married ("Wait til I tell
Spouse about this!"), and second guess a bit, I first remind myself of
how nice the approach of this holiday feels compared with any I've had
since marrying, and second, I remind myself that, as it turned out, he
didn't have that "core commitment" to our marriage--that "sanctity of
union" that I so desperately wanted and value. With those reminders, I
usually can stay pretty settled emotionally. I've had some trouble
sleeping, and my doctor prescribed 50mg of something called trazadone,
which seems to help.

I may even take myself to a warm sunny location for Christmas. It's
frickin snowing here today. I Hate Cold.

Thanks for asking. I'm still wondering if all my denial mechanisms are
not just in full-force, but my heart is telling me I have done the
right thing. I would never have been able to love him as I had,
knowing he never had that love for me.

How 'bout you? You gonna live with those crazy liberals in charge? :)

In school today: ah, yes, we listened to Cheeseburger in Paradise and
talked about sentence style choices. (A great song, for it's doesn't
have a real sentence in it.) But can you believe--the youth of today
for the most part don't know this song? Or even who Jimmy Buffett
is???

So if nothing else, they got an important sideways lesson on
classically silly party music.

Have a nice day, and talk with you soon!

Hey Fill, got it!  Thanks a bunch.  Hopefully I will get to read
it tonight when I get home from work.

I'm glad you have found that sliver of "piece of mind." I guessing
your lungs fill up enough to take actually take a deep breath
without the weight on your chest.

I understand what you mean by "core commitment."  Recently, I have been
learning more about my own core values and their relationship to my
marriage and some of the discoveries are not good.

It is nice to see others not settling when it comes to their own
core values.  To some that may seem selfish, but not when it comes
to core values.  Give and take on remedial issues is a part of a
healthy marriage, but one should not be expected to give up the
core of who they are.

I had my own dealings with core values last week.  I feel more
calm now than I have in years.  I give in much more than I should.
Sure I have a loud mouth, but in the end, I am normally the peace
maker.  (Sarcasm) Yeah, I am the peace maker because I am the one
given away more than I am getting......  (still calm though :-))

Ditto, that is why I am trying to plan a vacation to Vegas over Xmas.
I so need to "get outta Dodge."

(Jokingly) I am reading a ton about Carter and early 70's economic
landscape so I can figure out how to wade through the future four
year minefield.  :-)

Nah. I believe Presidents since the Depression, are mostly judged
on the status of the economy.  It is a shame because they actually
have very little control in that area.  One can blame Bush about
the War, about this and about that, but if the economy was health
and strong, the War would be the only issue and Bush would
have a much larger approval rating.

Funny you should mention this.  Went to a Casino over the weekend
and we had a great ride home listening to Jimmy.  Had to crank
the stereo because the four of us are TERRIBLE singers.  Boy, do
we suck. Loads of fun though.  "Fins" and "Changes in Latitudes.."
are my favorites though.

Rock On! :-)

You to.  Had bowling last night and it went alright but
a bad day at bowling is better than a great day at work
or sitting on my butt at home.

Bowling. I am terrible at it. I play for gutter ball scores. If you
can put it in the gutter half the time, you win!

I went to LV a few years ago. I collected all the cards of call girls
clapped at us. I think I came home with over 100! I liked the shows
and music, but I've never really lived a "what happens in Vegas stays
in Vegas" kind of life (not that I haven't taken huge gambles, tho
I've never taken huge financial gambles, lol)

Pretty much what I would do here is what I would do in Vegas. That
let's you know how exciting my mid-centurian-self is.

Now, Amsterdam...you can do stuff there legally that you can't do
here, and that I liked doing as a young rebellious teenager. (...ages
ago...but i still feel that me in me) But they have no warm beaches
there during my teaching breaks.

I did find a place in Eduador that looks interesting.

So what happened with you last week? you drop these hints but don't
tell!

Have a good end-of-week,

Yeah, try to keep it on the brown boards in the middle.  It will be
more fun and yet terribly excruciating.

I love Vegas and mostly stay on the strip.  I have not had
any of the "stay's in Vegas" moments either, but I still have
a lot of fun.

I have been trying for the last couple years to try and spend a few
more dollars but that "saver" in me comes out and I just can't seem
to spend it. Just last week at another Casino, I took $500 from
my vacation pay and still played like I only had $100 in my pocket.
I tried VERY hard to play like I had $500 but I just could not do it.

Still have $300 left so we decided to go to another Casino this weekend.
This money is meant to be spent so I do not have an issue losing it.
These are designated entertainment dollars but dang if I get to
conservative.

Did you hear about those two men who were arrested for injecting
14 people with the HIV virus.  They would use the date rape drug
on unsuspecting individuals, then inject them.  Man, if that is not
murder, I don't know what is.

Did you mean Ecuador?  I do not know of an Eduador.

If Ecuador, my friend went down there two years ago.  She
absolutely loved being there.  Then she decided to head
off to Alaska this year.  She drives me nuts with all her
travel.  Great pictures though.
