A friend of mine from Europe came to visit me
for a week and we got along so well that it makes
me think he is my soulmate for life.
I could feel that he also fell in love with me
and at the time he was leaving the city
he gave me a scented chocolate candle
and a beautifully wrapped book.
We talked about his current girlfriend and
he said that he was not that into her
while she somehow tricked him into saying
`I love you' all the time by saying "and...?" at
the end of their conversation.
Somehow I did not realize I was in love with him
back then and was not jealous of anything, I just joked
"and...and..' then he really popped the words "I love you"
to me. All of a sudden I did not know what to
do. I just pretended that I did not hear it and we
kept our conversation and the friendship is intact.
After he left I started to feel I missed him so very much and
I am really in love with him.

My headache is that his girlfriend
is moving to Europe to live with him.
I regreted that I pretended that I did not feel much towards
him at the time he was around me. I really did not realize
that I was in love with him, I have not dated anybody for 2 years and
I knew he has a girlfriend so I never allowed myself to love him.

Now I am in deep water since I could not forget about him,
I believe that he is the ONE. He has not called me or emailed me since
he returned London 3 days ago. At the airport when I was seeing him
off, I stood in a big distance from him, but he kissed me goodbye.
I pretended to be just friendly, but he reached out his one hand
and held my hand before he ran off to catch the plane.

I knew he likes me a lot for sure. But I do not know what he is going
to do
with his moving-in girlfriend. What should I do? I am totally lost
here.
Please help me!!!

What are you?  12?  You are prob'ly infatuated with his
cute Euro-accent & mannerisms, flattered by the attention,
and thus blinded to his flaws.  He may not be that "into"
his GF, but guess what, its she who he's with, not you,
and "tricking" him into saying "ILY" seems to be no real
feat.

Instead of pursuing someone else's BF, I suggest that you
focus on finding someone with whom you can develop a
real-life relationship, which BTW, takes and effort.  =R=

It's that continent on the other side of the Atlantic, trying to become ...
One.    :-)

As in, "...becoming One...".     (Perhaps there's a bit of Buddhism in there
:-)

No, but perhaps I should be.
