Nina, I forgot another link for the old radio shows that offers somewhat
better quality (by using higher bit rates, etc), in many cases. So here
are two links:
www.otrnow.com (generally has somewhat higher quality by using higher mp3
bit encoding rates, and better mp3 tagging, I believe)
and
www.otrcat.com (which has a very wide selection!)
I haven't bought any of the CD-formatted (i.e., cda-wav) stuff (it's too
wasteful!), but only the mp3's files, stored on the CD. And obviously
those won't play on a regular CD player.
But you can buy shows in the basic CD format, but obviously you won't get
anywhere near as much music or radio that way! (We're talking here about
a factor of 10:1, or so, at the *mininum*).

I like the mp3 idea anyway... I'm hoping that mp3 clock radio will
come out soon.
Thanks, Bill! I forgot about this; I've just had a hell of a week,
but I will have to check this out.
