You expressed an interest on what happened with my planned weekend
with wife and stepsons.
Well in a nutshell, it was an incredible evening.
I drank massive amouts of alcohol and we were out partying in downtown
London until 2AM.
I just got a text message from the oldest saying what a great night he
had.
The youngest stepson GF was with us and she emailed us Monday telling
the wife that was the most fun she had in months.
I think I was hung over for 2 days, but seeing my wife grinning ear to
ear the last few days was worth it.

I got a hotel room for the evening just near Hyde Park and we
subway'ed it to Regency street.
The evening started off with dinner for five and several bottles of
wine. We proceeded to the ICE BAR, a bar made out of ice and drink
vodka drinks out of ice glasses. We proceeded to just hang out
downtown and suck down large cocktails. Everyone was laughing, joking
the entire time.
I think my wife wasn't that thrilled with the ice bar (she more of a
summer person), but loved the experiance.
I told her I wanted to sell the house and build a home on the north
pole and she just looked at me funny. The sons loved it!

All in all, a good night out. And I'm on bottled water for the next
few days :-)
