Marriage troubles and divorce rates are out of control these days.
More than half of marriages today end in divorce. That is a horribly
sad statistic. Love is a choice that you make every day when you go
to sleep and when you wake up. Some days you may not feel the
original feeling, but love isn't a feeling or an emotion. It is an
action...a verb.
Falling out of love may just mean that you need to spice things up or
that you were never really in love in the first place. But if you do
fall in love and get married, don't take the easy way out and give up
on the person just because you have temporarily lost the spark.
Divorce should only be considered due to extreme circumstances, such
as an affair where you can never trust the person again.
I have a blog that has more information about what I have been going
through and what I have learned through the process. If you feel like
checking it out, I totally suggest it. http://marriagecounselingonline.blogspot.com/
I, personally, went through a stage where I thought I had fallen out
of love. I wanted to just give up and move on. But after putting in
some hard work, I was able to work things out within myself and I am
so thankful that I did.
