Hi Guys,

It's good to be back! 12 months away is quite a feat. It's great to be
home. Living out of a backpack certainly has it's trials and
tribulations but if my Darling and i can live together 24/7 for 12
months i think we can survive anything this life has to offer!!!

It's certainly a good test on a marriage. There is no doubt we're
soulmates. We knew this before but it's now confirmed. I guess our
challenge now is to be apart as we go about our quest to re enter the
workforce and re adjust to our life here.

We've observed lots of changes in each other and in our family and
friends at home and i think this can be attributed to a change in our
own attitudes and the way we see the world.

We've become more assertive and less tolerant of trivial things. We're
more simplistic and less materialistic. We're also less paroquial and
more accepting of other people's cultures and values.

Its changed in here (newsgroup) though. The Google interface that is.
Will take a bit of getting used to i think!

Hope all is going well for you all! I'm going to pop into my other fav
newsgroup - ASD - to catch up on all the happenings.
