Vickie - 01 Jul 2008 20:30 GMT Decided to try the "sleep in his t'shirt and briefs" idea.
Sunday I went out and scoured the beauty boutiques for a light fragrance to mix with my own eau de moi. I sniffed so many odors I felt headachey and dizzy.
Settled on a tree-hut shea body butter, some kind of lime extract with nut oil. I figured might as well try to moisturize while emitting.
Last night I took the extra shower, fresh is good, spread the butter, and slinked into his mentionables (see above). I felt pretty powerful and coquettish. lol
The single eyebrow raised at my attire, shrugged, he leaned in for a kiss, "You smell like a margarita."....
I think I tried too hard but, I am taking it as a compliment.

Yeah, I think you need to go subtle, cause he doesn't want anyone else smelling it. :-P But that reminds me back of when I started dating my husband and he tried to talk me into sleeping over. He assured me that he wouldn't try anything, but he'd like it if his pillow smelled like me. :-) Ah, those were the days.

I find that vanilla- or rose-scented body wash, shampoo, and lotion work well. Layers are subtle, but effective.

Layers are subtle, but effective. Vanilla is good, but I got tired of it. I really wish there was a perfume that smelled like the beach. I would be all over that.

Hey you ever go to that "failures" site, Doug?
The math ones are so dang funny.

You know, I think next to being called stupid, being mocked, well, it's just awful and bothers me so.

I would take it as a compliment. A man told me appreciatively one time, "You smell like a fruit salad! Yum!" I definitely take it as a compliment if a man tells me I smell like a sweet or tasty food. Maybe not so much if he says I smell like a pork chop or peas.

Yes, I suppose there are worse things I could smell of than a citrus- ey cocktail.

He: Something smells nice. She: My perfume? He: Beef.
