Well, after much searching, I found these:

VERY cool :) and they are more like flip flops than anything else. Which is
exactly what DD wanted :D
I know many ppl suggested Crocks, I like them too, but she really wanted
flip flops :)
I may get a couple of pr of crocks for myself
They were a little more costly than what I wanted (she is in an adult size),
but I hear they are tough and will last a few yrs. So that is cool. Even
if they don't fit her next year, her little sister can use them.
If I really like them I may end up getting some for myself.
Their Spring Basket will be full of beach things, so she will be getting
them on the 8th. I'll let you know how it goes :)

awesome!! i think i've seen these before. Seems like exactly what you were
after, flip-flops with a backstrap! hope she loves them!

GREAT find, Kat!! Those are very neat!

I understand her desire for regular flip-flops. The Crocs link I sent was
for their flip-flops with a strap but since she's adult sizes, it may not
have gone up to her size? I'm sure she will love the ones you found!

You know, when I first saw the Crocs I was horrified that anyone would ever
wear them. Then they started to grow on me, partly because I saw them
everywhere and partly because everyone that was wearing them said they are
extremely comfortable. My mom has the flip-flops and my little sister has
regular Crocs and their flip-flops but I don't have any. HOWEVER, it's been
gorgeous here for the past few weeks and I've been doing yardwork and I wish
I had a pair- they'd be PERFECT for doing yardwork! Let me know how you like
them if you get them!
