I need some help my little girl has staph again on her dottom and I
need to know if anyone else has had this problem and what kind of
diapers you were using at the time. I think that the Luvs that I've
been buying are causeing the staph. This is the second time in the
last 4 mos. I have cleaned, scrumbed, and disinfected everything yet
once again she has it.  Please help me with your information?

It prolly is the Luvs.  Whenever I used them with my DD, if I didn't change
her immediately upon her wetting, her little bottom would resemble raw
hamburger.  Something to do with the chemical reaction between the urine and
the perfume they use on the diapers just tore her up.  I never had a problem
when using Huggies or Pampers.  I preferred the Huggies.  Stop using the
Luvs, bathe her with Aveeno, use corn starch instead of talcum powder.  Good
luck and I hope her little tushie feels better soon.

Switch to another brand.  You may need to go through a few to find one
that she's not sensitive to, but it's worth it to keep those nasty
rashes away.
We used Huggies with success on that front, although I didn't care for
the tabs pulling off all the time.

Good luck,

Nan
