it's not. it is sicky sweet, has a cloying aftertaste &
leaves your mouth feeling like you licked a spoonful of
petroleum jelly. how can you call that yummy?
now, whipped cream is yummy...
and, speaking of pies, is it me or are storebought pies
getting crappier? Tom's brother brought a store bakery cherry
pie & it was straight canned pie filling & a lousy, tough
crust. it wasn't a cheap pie either. i mean, when i use canned
cherry pie filling i at least fix it up with a bit of almond
extract or Kirsch or something so it has some flavor. and i
really do expect better of a bakery crust...

IKWYM! I was going to buy a pumpkin pie from the bakery at our
supermarket. It cost 5.99 for a 10" pie. I decided to get a Sarah
Lee pumpkin pie which was on sale for 1.77. Honestly, the Sarah Lee
pie tasted better than the store bakery pumpkin pies we've had in the
past.

I hate that feeling that I have to scrape it off the top of my mouth. Blech

Can't do store pies anymore. They are just gross. We sometimes get one at
Marie Callendar's restaurant though. Their's are actually pretty good.
