Let's talk about labor support!

Did you have a supportive companion - the father of the child or a friend --
with you during labor?

Who was present at the birth? Your mate? A relative of friend? A doula? More
than one person?

Did you supportive companion help you significantly?

What did s/he do to help?

What difference did the supportive companion make during labor?

What advice to you have for the would-be labor companion who is anxious
about his role during labor?
