I was supposed to have the laser treatment today to sort out some of the problems after my cataract surgery. Was the one that they attempted in the summer when I was treated so appallingly. I went, had tests. my consultant who was supposed to do it was on holiday. Surgeon who was there said he could do it but he wouldnt dare try as its complicated. So I have to wait until my consultant comes back off holiday for them to phone me to make another appt. Its appalling. I specifically made it clear when booking it that my consultant had to be in. Wish there was something I could do to make it better for you... I'm busy trying not to dwell on it but at the same time not bottle it up iyswim. I can't believe I psyched myself up for nothing. I was so scared after last time :( We didnt even go out over Christmas so I wouldnt catch anything and have it delayed. dh was off work and K spent the day at the stables - all for nothing. So, I'm going to have to keep myself busy and od on chocolate. Am proud of one thing. We bought a wireless router so that we could connect our PS3 (joint birthday and christmas presents for dh and and I) this afternoon and i have managed to set it up with only a small amount of swearing :) woohoo lol!! Neighbours are going to leak test it to make sure I've set it up safely. /twiddles thumbs. I forsee lots of gaming to get me through the next couple of weeks. and chocolate. > Am proud of one thing. Its absolutely fabulous. Some of the dark bits are a little challenging to see lol! but other than that its brilliant. I'm having to ration myself cos I'm scared of finshing it too soon. I'm also desperate to get back out driving. You're right - they're idiots and haven't learnt any bedside manner. You're better off waiting for your consultant even if that is nerve-wracking.
