Thanks for all your well wishes yesterday. I was so wiped out! I tried to keep going as usual (should have rested!) but I felt so headachy and fainty. This morning I woke up. First thing I noticed was that my headache had gone. I peered cautiously with my operated eye. The orange blob outside the window was no linger an orange blob - it was a street light. I fidgeted around for a bit while dh slept. When I got up i looked out of the window. Across the road the house has bricks again. The trees have definition :) Its still got a way to go but I wasnt expecting any effect for a few days. Last night we went out in the car and my vision was no longer whited out by the car headlights and I could see details fairly clearly. I think I'll be ok to resume driving again soon. And..... I can read in the bath again!! hooray... its been so frustrating I've repeatedly tried and given up half way through articles in disgust as its been too hard work. So lots of long soaks in the tub are coming up. Its quite hard work seeing at the moment. hard to explain, its like my eyes are remembering how to work together so seeing feels 'tense'. I'm sure its a temporary thing though, shows how much I was relying on the one eye in some circumstances. Sarah I am so very happy for you Sarah, this post just brought tears to my eyes!
