I've been to the Berlin Film Festival at the weekend, which was a lot of fun, but also rather exhausting, as I had a cold when we went there, and standing outside several hours at a stretch doesn't really improve that. Thankfully I was lucky, I am still rather hoarse and have a cough, but otherwise I am fine again. Reason for my visit there was that I wanted to see a certain actor whom I am a fan of, and I actually managed to see him close up for a short moment. Sounds silly, especially for a woman my age, but I was overwhelmed and very happy.

No loose skinks in the house. I would say that was a fine trigger. We have been clothes decluttering. My family does not need all the clothes we have.
Enjoy the freedom of less stuff.

> My condolences, Lee. Are you going down? no, he'll be bringing her ashes up. they bought a place for their ashes in Nashua last year. i have no idea why they chose Nashua, as my dad's parent's ashes are in St.Pete... i suspect my dad will sell the house in Florida. neither of them particularly liked it there, but it was warmer in the winter & mom needed that. my dad is perfectly happy with snow, since he can hire someone to plow ;) i'd prefer he stay up here so he's closer to us (my older brother lives at his house & my younger brother is near the NH/ME seacoast border). we'll see what he thinks though. lee

You have my sympathy Lee, to your Dad and brother as well. It seems like every family handles death so differently. When my grandfather passed away we all knew it was coming so we accepted it and took it more calmly.
I am glad your family is handling it in your own way. I hope you have some great memories and so does Boo.
My condolences.
