Hey Northeasterners! Looking for nice area to vacation with family. We like
to go places with things to do and see. In the past we've been to Niagara
Falls area (camping for a week) - loved aquariums, falls, amusement parks,
hiking trails, erie canal and cave tours etc. Also - been to NH (maybe my
fave vac w/family) - white mts, mt washington area. Also - hit the
catskills regularly. Have been to Vt (queechee) but kids were very young
and only went raspberry picking. Any other ideas?

Would it be fun for the kids? I know my dh and I went to Newport for a long
weekend and that was nice ... but the kids (7 and9) would've been bored to
tears. We're on LI so beach is fun .. .but we do get a lot of beach time
during the summer. Thanks for the suggestion tho' ... i really want to go
to Boston for a long weekend around thanksgiving :-)
