E is having surgery tomorrow morning for a perforated eardrum.... a procedure called tympanoplasty. It sounds worse than it really is, but she's understandably upset and nervous today. So I told her I would ask all my a.m. friends to wish good wishes for her and that made her feel better :-) Thanks a bunch! She'd been nauseous and became ill twice, perhaps from the surgery itself or the medicine they gave her before we left, but she napped quite a bit and is finally eating some crackers while she plays her Wii :-) Taking the bandage off her incision was traumatic because they applied the tape to her hair but we got through that (WheW!) I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. It meant a lot!
