And a few days by now: I got married to DH. Don't ask how we managed to
get through, we've had our ups and downs. ATM we're considering marriage
counseling, since we seem to be one of the many couples unable to manage
a family, two jobs, a relationship, and the remnants of a once active
social life.
We celebrated by having dinner together, which was very good (the food)
and very enjoyable (the company). It made us realize that we still have
lots of things to talk about, and we should spent more time together.
DH bought me a wonderful set of earrings. I haven't worn anything in my
ears for years due to allergy, but these are real gold and so far so
good! Shiny glittery things still work for me ;-)
I hope we can complete another 10 years. It seems we still have a strong
basis to be together, plus three kids, we just need to rev up the
communications bit, both of us.

I don't know of many marriages that are living in bliss every day. It is so
easy to lose track of being a couple and fall into work/kid/sleep mode. Your
earrings sound like he made an excellent choice for a "little" something for
his sweetheart.
Happy Anniversary!
