...for the summer!
School is out tomorrow, I will have 7th and 8th graders...wah!!! They are
growing to be such, well, young ladies!!
Let's see, what's on our agenda? For Caroline, we have softball team
practice 2 nights a week, and hitting lessons once a week. Summer
basketball 2 days a week, and then we play softball 3 of 4 weekends. Second
week of June is diabetes camp, I will go with a be a camp nurse (I am so
excited, I never went to sleep away camp!!!). We have the World Series (of
12 and under softball) end of July, so a week away playing ball.
Clare has cheerleading twice a week, tumbling lessons one night a week, and
is looking for a camp to go to...besides cheer camp, which is coming up
soon. But with our family trip to the beach with friends, and a trip with
Us GirlZ to Gatlinburg, plus going to the Series with the fam, not much
free time.
Yipes! Somebody tell me when I am going to go to work and refinish the deck
and paint the bathroom?????
Beth...who wouldn't have it any other way

Yep, I say let the deck and bathroom wait <G>
We're not going to be as busy as you but mine are much younger and I'm
sure it will all ratchet up as they get older!

Oh, yeah...they start out slow to kind of break you in and then load it on !
LOL
I wish we could let the deck and bathroom wait, but they have been pushed
back so many times it is to the desperate point now...

I remember that when my son was young!

I know what you mean. We had an unfortunate water leak in our
bathroom quite a while ago. It's at stage critical for needing to
finish it up. I'm tired of living with bare walls and floors.

I would be insane if we had a schedule like that. in the summertime or heck
any time.

How did that happen? It seems only yesterday, they were in K. My dgd
will be in 1st grade next year and I have no idea how she managed to
age that quickly.

Let's see. Dgd is going to Australia with her mom and dad the day
school ends for two weeks. Tours galore. When she comes back, she
has camp at the Natural Science Museum, then she is going to Seattle
to visit her auntie with me and dh for a week. After that she has
Space Camp and Zoo Camp. She will probably do gymnastics and
swimming lessons at some point during the summer too.
Meanwhile her brother continues with his therapy. The driving
situation will be a bit hairy. My dh will probably pick up one of the
kids from school or camp and my dil will pick up the other. It will
be a rare day when they can both be picked up by one driver since dgs
has extra therapies after his *school* day.

I think you probably need to let that go until they are back in school
