Had a WONDERFUL time playing nurse at camp....had never been to sleepaway
before so even at my age I had a BLAST...that is, until I fell and broke my
ankle. Ow! It was the night before camp was over, and since I was still
trying to figure out how to get home (about 200 miles, and this is my right
ankle), I stayed. The camp is fully handicap accessible, so that was not a
big deal, and my cabin was 12 year old boys, who thought it was such fun to
push Miss Beth in the chair. They made me flags to decorate hte chair and
swords to use, LOL.
Now that I am home, the fun is over, since my house is decidly NOT broken
ankle friendly. Plus Aunt Flo got here, plus the AC is still broken. Wah. I
am hot and remarkably b*thcy.
Off to eat out and definitely not be the DD, Father's Day or no.

And may I add I broke a toe on my other foot slamming it into the crutch
when I stumbled and caught myself on my bad ankle.
F-Bomb.

Bought any lottery tickets? With all that bad luck you must have some
good saved up.

Ouch on the broken leg, but yay for the fun you got to have!
No AC yet? Ack, I'd be melting.
My washer broke yesterday so I had to do the laundromat thang.

I *did* have fun and can hardly wait for next year!! It was so much more
fun than I expected, and I had high expectations!
I am off to the ortho today, I hope I can have a boot and not a cast so I
can shower more easily.

Good luck at the ortho! Yep, a boot would be *so* much nicer, I hope
you get one!
