I went to a Six Flags yesterday with my older children and today I hardly
have a voice, my back aches and my neck is sore! I think I've decided no
more big roller coasters for me.

I hope you feel better quickly.
At some point we get to make these decisions. My oldest daughter asked
me yesterday if I would dive off a 20 foot tower with her and I said
that I had reached a point in life where I don't feel the need to do
that anymore.

I used to love rollarcoasters when I was younger. Now that I am older, I
just can't handle them anymore. I have gotten afraid of heights and it makes
me feel very panicky when I am up high. It's weird.

Me too. As I've aged - my body can't take things the same way (spinning
rides, for one - heights plus spinning) nor do I have much of a desire.
