I was thinking similar thoughts. ;)
He's not so much a parent as a sperm-doner that's looking for any way
to escape from the overwhelming responsibilities presenting in
parenting.
Of course, not having the British sense of humor often necessary when
presented pieces in the Telegraph, I could've missed the undercurrent
he was hoping to transfer between the lines.
