Not only did you manage to delay Hanna, but also managed to divert it
100 miles out to sea. :)

Just for the record away from Orlando and Disney, Florida is the coolest
place I've been to, despite being 89f in the shade.

Not sure if I can wait till xmas for my next dose of Floridian women

Glad you had a good time!
Coming back in December? Or is she going across the pond to you?

She's coming here, to enjoy her first family christmas. A freezing cold
xmas in England would probably be novelty enough, I just hope we get
some snow :)

I'm also looking at the possibility of a quick trip on the Eurostar and
staying in Paris for New Years eve. Overly romantic cliche? :)

AAAAHHHH!!!  If she does not go crazy for the idea of Paris on New Year's
Eve then she does not deserve anyone nearly as wonderfully romantic as
you!!!  I can hardly breathe thinking about how awesome that would be!
(so I guess I would say No, not a cliche, but an incredible idea)  Could you
give lessons to my DH?

Are you going to tell her ahead of time or surprise her?

Beth...who is redecorating my girls' bathroom in 'Parisian mode'.

We where sat in bar in Cocoa, and I suggested that as we'd be in London
it wouldn't be a big thing to get on the train and go to France for a
day, and then it just sort of went from there. So yeah she does know :)

The only problem is my french isn't all that great

fingers crossed.

Maybe, but if she doesn't really really love it, keep on looking. Along
with the idea of white weddings, little babies, the cutest little black
dress,

It is something like listening to my 10yo son talking about a particular
car, I forget which one (lol), exactly the same way I've heard so many
men talk about it. Some idea of that car that once the idea is in the
head of someone it just resonates so immediately.

She may not be the parisian meals kind of girl, but along with sweet 16s
, a great 21st, the opportunity to consider a white wedding
extravaganza, it is just so one of those things.

My 'parisian meal' didn't quite work out as the ideals go, but DH has
promised we'll go back one day. I'm not holding him to it, because it
wasn't totally his fault.

sorry for blathering,
Marc
