Dh's brother lives in Lawton and since dh would be going there w/out
us for a short period of time, that's where he'd be staying. Where
we'd end up re-locating to depends on a lot of things, but dh has
family in Cameron and nearby Ft. Smith AR.

Yes, I remember :-)

Yay! Nan's back.

Somewhat being the operative word LOL.

:-D, they like to do things differently.

Oh, that's lovely, I've always wanted to be able to sing, but alas...;-).

Cool!

LOL.

Oh wow, that /would/ be some change :-). When will you have to decide?

Congratulations! You're a mother-in-law LOL!

Sounds absolutely lovely :-).

Teehee, I've got one of those lives as well ;-).

For the time being, anyway. LOL.

It will be a few months yet. If dh decides to take it he would move
there alone and stay near his brother while I stayed here and tied up
loose ends.

Yep, I love it :-)

Do tell hon. How have your classes been going?

Ah, I see. Good that you have the time to weigh all the pros and cons, and
that you aren't rushed into having to make a decision. Good luck figuring
out what to do!

Oh...dear...LOL. Big can of worms. Huge actually. I was doing brilliantly,
having passed 800 hours worth of courses in just 6.5 months. I was
going places KWIM?, but then I came to a crashing hold, where I still am
(and have
been since the second week of April) ;-(. Because of my limited hand
function I am allowed to type answers to exam questions and they have been
messing with this so-called 'special provision' for many months now. The low
point was reached in August, when they actively managed me to fail two exams
(having to move places during the exam, first no computer at all available
for (how am I supposed to write down the answers?!), then being assigned a
computer with a locked HD (right, I am going to type like crazy on this
flaming thing, risking to lose everything I typed because I couldn't save
it?! Like hell I will). And there's more and more and more.
With everything that happened with my brother the furious complaint was
delayed, however it is now nearing its completion. This is the mother of all
complaints (I am totally Nan-ing them LOL). They have broken the law in so
many places I have lost count. Plus I know a /lot/ of fellow students
(taking four bachelor programmes at the same time will do that for ya ;-)),
several of whom with equally horendous experiences with their special
provisions. I have permission to use their (anonymised) experiences to show
that this is not a problem of /mine/, OU is a sick organisation. I may have
a lot of medical problems, I am nowhere near as sick as they are.
The problem has always been at OU head office, now it is at local branch. I
just don't trust anyone anymore, they have proven to be unreliable
lawbreakers. I'll take it to parliament, the education secretary (who also
happens to be in charge of anti discrimination, how very convenient for me
:-D) and the press if I have to. To court even, if must be. For now I'll
just send the complaint to just about everyone I can think of at the OU.
Worthless pieces of cr*p, each and everyone of them :-@.
Otherwise I am doing good LOL. The everlasting reorganisation of my chaotic
house is nearing its completion. Already there have been two occasions where
I looked myself silly for something and than, much later, realised that I
had actually put the object in its rightful place. One simply does not think
of that while looking ROTFL. Other than that I am working on all kinds of
crafts projects, I have taken up making beaded animals, which is fun, I am
working on Christmas decorations, home decorations, some repairs and
replacements of stuff I previously made for my niece. Never a dull moment
:-). I have even managed to pick up my books to study a bit. Them shall not
win. Ever <sticks nose in air>.

Literally and figuratively :-) Although it finally dropped to 32F
over the weekend and we've had bits of snow falling out of the sky so
it's clear our Indian Summer is finally over.

Snow is so rare here these days that I almost have to look it up in
Wikipedia :-(. I love snow. It's about the only interesting part about
winter.
