Angie - 28 Oct 2003 07:15 GMT I received several emails signed from Angela, Nancy and JayJay and others asking me to leave both the newsgroup and the sanctuary only to find out, it wasn't any of them.
So heads up, if you get emails asking you to leave along with detailed information on how to leave both - double check with those people. Some one is sending out emails posing as alt.moms.
BTW, now that I know the truth I'm not leaving.

jayjay hasnt been jayjay for a while... and knowing how to delete accounts from the Sanctuary is not a good pointer either as you say. My guess is a lurker saw the recent sanctuary thread and url, followed it and saw the 3 contact names at the bottom of the page and used them. Did the annon poster actually 'know' how to delete membership from the sanctuary or just 'suggest' Angie do it? Only if they revealed inside knowledge on what and how to would I be sus of it being someone with site membership.

Nor is my email address - and my name on email and sanct is not jayjay... and as michelle said - I haven't used jayjay on this group in quite a while.
Frankly, this is probably not a good topic of discussion in this forum, at this time. IYKWIM.

Get out and enjoy this beautimus weather that has > be-Fallen on us over night. :) Oh I have been enjoying the weather! We walked Sea World until we wilted yesterday, today I've spent making flower pics and pressing more flowers [plumbago is really pretty when pressed via microwave!], and tomorrow will be a trip to the McKee gardens in Vero. This weather is just marvelous and I'll take a couple months more please!
/funny DS story as an aside to the weather.......
For those of you who don't know, Florida is enjoying autumn and we had a lovely "cold" front come through overnight last night. That means it's cool enough to put on jeans, probably in the mid 70's this afternoon. Anyway......DS slept with all his windows wide open last night. He wore a cotton pair of PJ's, too, so he woke up a tad chilly. As husband was making breakfast I was going around the house opening curtains and such. I got to DS' room and started to open his shades and shut down the windows some as the breeze was coming in quite strong. Suddenly I realized he was back in bed. I asked him if he was dressed.
"It's too cold" he responded.
I saw his pj's on the floor and said, "If you get some clothes on you will be warmer."
"But my clothes are in my dresser."
Poor boy, naked under the covers, laying directly under the wide open windows with the chilly northern breezes blowing in!
Ah, this weather is lovely!

Yep, we do. This is an older mobile home with very poor insulation. The floor is freezing in the morning without heat.

Today I believ ethe highs are in the low 80's. No 70's here. ALthough, I have not stepped outside since 8am this morning, so I don't know what its really like out there.
I'm looking forward to turning the AC back off tonight, opening the windows and getting a good night's sleep again. Its been rotten - as its still too humid to go w/out AC, yet its cool enough that w/ the AC on, its not kicking in, so I sleep like crap because there's no air blowing around.
I'm also looking forward to camping this weekend. :)

You must be much further north than me. :) With the a/c off the house can get upwards of 85 during the day ... and the humidity - YUCK. I hate doing that to the cat and dog - let alone us humans. :)
Camping - we are considering Fort Desoto - but they require reservations to be made in person, so we are going up on a wing and a prayer that we can get a spot in the petfriendly area on Saturday. Wish we had the time to leave on Friday and go to Ft. Wilderness for the weekend - that'd be cool.

I hate doing that to the > cat and dog - let alone us humans. :) Sounds like our area is a tad cooler than your's, but that our house opens up better to catch the breezes, too. With family home all day it helps in keeping the sliding glass doors open and such as well. But, as I point out to husband every so often <VEG> since I lived for 35 years without a/c I'm much more acclimated to being comfortable without it on than he, a Florida native who grew up in a/c, is. I really do think that that has something to do with it. I appreciate a/c, but I also dislike it because of how it cuts me off from the fresh air, the bird songs, and the rest of the world. Everyone in Florida seems to retreat into their a/c from May to October and you don't see hide nor hair of them, and here we live in this outdoors' lovers paradise! Never ceases to amaze me. But then again, I don't mind mowing our lawn, with our push mower, in the middle of the summer in the middle of the day. I just need windshield wipers for my glasses....

Are you tenting? Husband says that Alexander Springs is beautiful. I like Blue Springs and Rocks Springs State parks. Maybe you would enjoy those areas some time.

I love this time of year, and it comes twice. It reminds me of the New England summers and late spring times I enjoyed through about 35 years of my life. And I get it *twice* a year. It's lovely. So I get spring fever and fall fever.
here's to hoping your warm weather arrives soon, but not in the too hot dept. I seem to recall that you all can get quite warm over there, rivaling us in Florida in our warmer days.

we get those twice a year too... sometimes hobart never made it that high in summer ;-)
today was supposed to be 19 (67) but instead its 13 (55) at the mo... i am cold.. i will have to go and put on some long pants...
yes we get hot here.... about low to mid 30's in summer as an average. (85-100)
i miss my heat (not) of queensland, of long balmy nights... (sweating like a pig with no a/c), swimming all day int he pool, (ge tting out looking like a lobster, or the water being too hot to swim in)
But I dont miss the weather in Perth, where its consistently desert hot... 40-42 (104-108)
We were thinking of moving back there.. slower pace of life than here.. but DH cant handle the heat of that... this spring has shown that...
So we are planning serious root growing, and I am trying to set up support networks... cos according to the ot, dh might not have a licence for much longer... Do you drive, Michelle? You are right, though, you need a good, and extensive, support system. If you are not members in a local church I'd suggest attending one as that is a marvelous way to find consistent support/assistance. Your local MS support chapter [i assume they are in Aussie land] should also be helpful, but knowing you, you've already been scoping things out quite thoroughly. I hope that Mike surprises the OT but I do understand needing to be prepared at the same time one is hoping for the best.

the church would fall down if i walked in Aula...
