Ok mommies and daddies,

This is just a fun question that I was wondering.  If money were extremely
abundant and could have anything you wanted what would it be and why?  It
has to be specifically for you. Me I think it would be a house on every
continent so I could visit y'all!

I think the having money as no issue would be a wish come true in itself but
other than that I would love to afford to be a SAHM and still afford life's
little luxuries.
And I'd love enough money to plan and organise and ensure full attendance of
an international AM meet.

I would want a BIG house.  Big enough so I could have as many kids as I want
to and also have room left over for company and it would be close to town.
Oh and I would have alpakas (sp?) and a couple cows and some chickens and a
pig or two.. lol oh and it would come with someone willing to take care of
all that stuff..;)  I have to stop reading the Homesteaders magazine.. lol
DH said the only thing he will ever agree to farm is a sand lot.

i'd only want a big house if it came with a cleaning person.
if not, well, i'd settle for a central vac system i suppose.
i'm still contracting out window washing though.
alpacas are overpriced, go with llamas ;) (i have 6 of the
things & we love them!). cows? Devons are nice small cows. we
have a Scottish Highland, and one Angora goat & a pygmy/dwarf
Nubian cross goat, and 6 chickens.
Homesteader is nice, but look for one called Hobby Farm. it
has some good practical info. Tom never in his life thought
he'd end up farming, but he *loves* it. it's a great way to
bring up kids, too.

I would love a never ending supply of art supplies. :D I've never owned real
canvas for paintings. I would love a roll, some gesso and an abundance of
paints to just go nuts. :D

Sure. :D I'm actually plotting a picture now. I'm conniving to try and get
DH a really cool present for X-mas. (Denise Anderson, if you're lurking...
it's a paintball clinic with Dynasty!!!). It's $200 so I'm selling some of
my artwork on ebay.

Hmmm.... an estate with no mortgage, and guest houses so all my
kids/future grandkids would always have a home.
A couple of cars that don't need repairs every other month!
Enough money to travel, even if it's only within the borders of the
US!

A team of experts who could completely make me over into someone fabulous!!  And a paid-off mortgage
would be good, too!

That's easy :) An oceanfront house in the Outerbanks big enough for my whole
family to enjoy so that the families who have a hard time paying to join us
on the family vacation can go and so my kids and grandkids will be able to
grow up to know and love the place that I know and love so much. On a
smaller scale, I would like a new car that I feel safe driving and not have
to worry whether or not something is going to happen to the car or to me
while driving the car. It's hard for people to hear me say that and not
think I am a spoiled brat b/c of the type of car that I drive but it is 12
years old and there are some incredibly unsafe problems with the car. I know
that a new one is coming soon because my mom doesn't like me driving this
car so we will see. My dad is on partial commission and the big "bonus" (the
commission part of his salary) comes at Christmas so they tend to make big
buys then.

Thanks for letting me fantasize.

Something that weighs in at around 6-8 pounds and wets diapers...

Unfortunately apart from my health money *is* an issue for me in that
dream... I think if I ever won the lottery my first reaction would be:
now I can finally have my child.

An iBook laptop with a wireless high-speed connection.  Then I wouldn't
be stuck in one room.  :-)   A housekeeper would be nice.  And maybe a
personal trainer who would get my sorry butt moving.

Oh, and World Peace.

Not with money, but magic:  I would bring my parents back
so that they could enjoy my grown children and 3 yr. old
grandson.  (They both died when my DD was ~18 months old,
and never knew DS.)  They would adore my kids. It's been 32 years....

A vehicle big enough that we all fit in so we don't have to go out in a
convoy
My house finished...finished, finished, floors tiled and boards laid in
EVERY room, paint on walls, taps that have water come out of them, pipes
that connect, doors that have handles
My gardens landscaped
The marker stains out of my table
The rats in my bedroom roof dead
The possums eating my new veges dead
Fantastic drugs that remove all pain from my body without any side effects
A studio so I can paint with space and store my paintings, maybe a small
gallery if Santa feels generous
A Holiday to Italy, Greece and Turkey with built in Nanny so I may tour
the architecture and ancient ruins unhindered by the sproggen
And a healthy baby in my arms come next May

And Mushy Pea's on Earth

have you researched low dose naltrexone.

dh has been on this for a week and the results are marvelous.  Andrea,
he laid concrete slabs this week... and has not used his wheelchair.

i was very sceptical, given the cost etc, but it works... for most
autoimmune diseases.

happy with him being almost pain free, fairly happy, and the ability
to laugh again..

I want to have our house here finished and then (strangely enough) move to
another home (not sure where yet) but that house would be bigger, better and
nearer to a city.

I would love just not having to scrounge at the end of each pay period for
money and worry about having enough.

Travel

Go back and get finish my Master's degree and get a doctoral degree...
likely in Family studies or Women's studies.

I would love to take my kids and dh all over the tarnation and show them
other countries and let them explore and be able to stay in nice little
places.

I also would love to set up a fund whereas I can afford to give money to
people, institutions and places that need it to be able to do research, fund
programs that are special or whatever is needed to do something good.

oh if only I could buy peace for people who don't know what that is, have
not had much in their life and really want it.

I'd adopt at least 4 children, preferably siblings, from a developing
country. Then I'd buy us a decent house for a big family, set up college
funds for the kids and an pensionfund for ourselves. The rest would go to
charity, preferably something to do with education.

Pay off the mortgage, pay for a fabby holiday at Martinique or somewhere
like for my whole family (about 20 people) including airfares, and then
another fabby one for AM somewhere equally tropical. And set up a bursary
for junior, high and uni for a kid or two where the parents don't have a
single fixed asset, or regular income.

Thanx

Well, we don't get sweltering Christmases around here, but I wouldn't
mind seeing a white Christmas again, instead of the stupid grey and
rainy ones... Only 5 white Christmases here this century and the closer
you live to the sea, the less likely you are to see snow... The east of
the country gets much more snow than we do here :-(.
