Dgd was delighted. It was only a few flakes, but she loved it.
Now Broke can laugh at me. It wasn't really cold though, but
then I am used to Chicago weather.

We still got nothing. Everyone on all sides of us got slammed,
though!
We've got cold. Cold enough to have to scrape ice off the *inside* of
my sliding glass door :-/

We had an ice storm here. J couldn't even go to work. He probably could
have if we were in the city. Since we live in BFE there is no chance on
these roads.

I can still see grass through the dusting we've got here. Haven't had
this little snow at this point of winter since 1923.
At DD's in Duluth, we have lovely fluffy, dry stuff overnight both
nights, the 25th and 26th. Cold and windless, I walked to church
yesterday morning and it was wonderful. I haven't heard shoes squeaking
in the snow in a while.
Last night we went to see Bentleyville. Check it out:
<www.bentleyvilleusa.com> There are a lot of preparation pictures to
wade through in the scrapbook, but the result is nothing short of
spectacular. I chatted with the chap who puts it up about where he gets
his snowflakes -- Menard's. This was Sam's second visit there. She
likes the light castles where she can poke her head through for a
picture.

Didn't have any decent snow last winter either, and IIRC, not the winter
before that either.
