The addresses are US-based, but many of the organizations are
international, and have a website you can donate directly from.

CWS - 0800 74 73 72, or PO Box 22-652, Christchurch
Tear Fund - 0800 800 777, or online at www.tearfund.org.nz
World Vision - 0800 80 2000.
Caritas - 0900 411 11 for $20 donations, or PO Box 12-193 Wellington.
They have a NZ Red Cross donation box at every checkout at Woolies I saw
last night, so I put a little cash in that way. That will be easier for
me as I can give a little each week, rather than one large amount that I
don't have, plus that way and just add it to the grocery bill and wont
really notice.

another one... this organization is great. Project C.U.R.E
MAKE A DONATION TO DELIVER A CONTAINER OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT
Because Indonesia has been the most devastated by the Tsunami, we are
organizing ocean going cargo containers (the size of semi-truck trailers)
filled with vital medical relief to be sent as soon as possible. To do this,
we need to raise approximately $20,000 per container to cover the project
costs of this effort. The value of the medical supplies and equipment is
approximately $400,000 wholesale. If your heart has been moved to action by
the stories and pictures of the destruction caused by this natural disaster,
there is a way that YOU can help make a difference!
To donate to our relief efforts in Indonesia and other impacted countries,
please click here to make a tax-deductible donation on our secure website or
send a check to:

HOST A TSUNAMI RESPONSE EVENT
Another way that you can respond is by hosting a Tsunami Response Event in
your home. Simply pick a date and invite your concerned friends and family.
You provide the invitations and refreshments, and Project C.U.R.E. will
provide a representative to show a short video and discuss what our
organization is doing to respond to the disaster. Then, attendees will be
given an opportunity to make a contribution to Project C.U.R.E. The goal for
each event would be to raise $20,000 towards the cost of delivering a 40-ft.
ocean-going cargo container of medical supplies and equipment worth more
than $400,000 (wholesale) to one of the countries devastated by the Tsunami.
