I was at my moms yesterday afternoon.  She received a phone call from a dear
friend of hers.  My mom and some of my school friends moms keep in close
touch.  This friend told my mom that a gal who was in the class just ahead
of me in elementary school died yesterday of a Heart Attack!
It was such a shock.  This was a very outgoing, confident and beautiful gal.
I have not seen her in several years but I love her mother very much and am
very concerned about her.  Mom is diabetic and like her daughter is a sweet
and wonderful person.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Tami has a younger
sister and mom and dad who will miss her terribly.

Yep... I had a rough day with my girls.  I think the reality that someone my
age has died and it is hitting me in odd ways.  I went between hugging the
girlsas I realized that this woman I know well and love has lost a dear
child... and then I went through trying to deal with the my dd's odd
behavior.  Their dad is out of town and I'm alone with them which doesn't go
completely well I'm realizing they emotionally have rough spots ... plus my
older dd had a painful experience which nearly broke my heart to watch her
telling me between sobs.  And my heart is just breaking here and there for
this deceased girls family...

I didn't think I would be much affected by it since I had not seen in
several years.

I have to just guess again!

People we love stay in our hearts, Anni.  No two ways about it. I'm sorry
your od is going thru a tough time. It hurts so damn much to see our kids
hurt - just read an article about how it's important for them to feel hurt,
and frustrated and to lose sometimes so that they learn that it's not the
end of the world and they learn important coping skills. I'm sure that
doesn't alleviate any pain for you or she - but nonetheless an important
life lesson ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))
