having a small pity party, not that I deserve one lol, but things always
come in lumps.

Yesterday I noticed that one eye was really sore, put it down to grumpy
contact lens. Then we went out in the evening to the works sports and
social club. We have to walk through some woods, a cow field and across
a stream to get to it, its quite fun. Had 2 beers, twas nice. Must have
gone to my head though. On the way back we had forgotten our torches and
it was dark. I was carrying K and my foot turned in a hole (I know Im
stupidly accident prone). I didnt drop her but I wrenched my ankle nicely.

Went to bed, woke up cos my ankle was aching and my eyes were glued
together. Ive obviously got conjunctivitis.

So after a very fitful night I have sore itchy eyes. My ankle aches. Its
fine, not really anything to whinge about. All my arthritis joints are
starting to flare. Then I find AF has started in a big way. great.

/sigh.

k had a good friends birthday party to go to. I didnt want her to miss
it so we went. 2 mile walk there pushing stroller. I stayed for an hour
and a half and left K while I went to see my doc (another mile each
way). Def conjunctivitis. she asked how I was feeling and I said I was
off colour so she checked my glands - way up and I hadnt noticed. She
gave me some ointment for my eyes but Im to hold off cos she thinks its
all viral. I cant wear my contacts for at least a week (probably 2) and
I hate my glasses, they make look ugly. She topped up my arthritis script.

So i went back to get K, found Id missed the food and everyone was going
home. No one noticed my new haircut.

Pushed K home again. it had started raining, first rain for weeks and
weeks and I got soaked.

So I really feel like crap now. I hurt all over only fit for bed really.

gosh, Im good at this feeling sorry for myself.

amazing amount of walking!  Take a break woman :)
I wish I were there to help out a bit ... at least drive you to where you need
to go.

{{{Sarah}}}. Hopefully the party wore K out, and you got a good rest. Tell
hubby he's bringing supper home, and take it easy. Your body really thinks
you should.

Hope there's a good movie on to go with the wine and chocolates.

me feel better. what a sweetie.

/passes treats to eat, linament to use, and perfect eye sight to replace
those conacts.

I've btdt so many times with pink eye, and have never had it again since I
stopped wearing contacts.  I liked my look without glasses and I also
*really* liked being able to really see.  Ah well.  I hope *you* feel much
better very soon.  You've been dealing with a lot and could use a bit of a
rest.  Anyone volunteering to give it to you?

pink eye is the pits isnt it. Im dreading passing it on to K cos then
theres no school til shes over it and thats so frustrating.

Sometimes I think of eye surgery but Im scared it would go wrong.

Im going to have a good weekend. On sunday dh and K are going to be
throwing me a 'suprise' bday party. My bday isnt for another week but my
sister is going to be having K :) and K would be devestated if she
thought she had missed my bday, so we are telling her its sunday. dh is
taking her shopping tomorrow, then  they will set it up while Im at
church on sunday. we are going to have traditional games :)
