At work was today.
Small boy started vomitting at 1.30am!!!
I couldn't believe it, he hasn't been sick the whole time since I
stopped working (other than the chicken pox IIRC)
He continued till 4am.
I rang Dave at work, he was working till 7am, and he straight away
volunteered to stay up after work this morning and look after him.
Thank goodness that I had negotiated to start just working mornings!
When I told my work they had an amazing attitude... told me that I
should have just called in sick that small children (who have been used
to a SAHM) need their Mummies when sick and that if he was sick
today/tonight I was NOT to come in tomorrow but to put my family first!!!
I've hit the jackpot with them!
First day was good, orientation is always a little boring but the people
are nice.

Wow! It's nice to know that companies like yours really exist - and it's
nice to hear the dh stepped up without a hesitation. Good Luck!

*Excellent*
More companies should be understanding about these things. I'm glad

Oh dear! I'm glad dave volunteered to take over with him. Tyler seems to
be very sensitive to changes. My guess is he may not have even known you
were going but things around him were changing. He's a perceptive little
tot! Hopefully things will work out well and your transition to work will
be smooth.
